Neighbors adopting (Ethiopia), DS unvaxed, any issues?

My neighbors are bringing home an 18 mo old from Ethiopia in a few months (so he'll be 20-22 months) - I think this is a wonderful thing and am so happy for them

I am wondering through if I need to be concerned about anything? DS is not vaxed and they've been talking about the boys playing together and I don't know what diseases are circulating in Ethiopia that might not be as prevalent here, etc

Am I worrying over nothing?

Any child being adopted from Ethiopia will be vaxed up to the eyeballs before entering this country.
