Anybody up for a virtual blessingway?

I noticed in another post how a lot of us wished we had family/friends that knew what a blessingway was or would do one for us ... so why don't we do a virtual one for each other?

I know it's not the same, but still, it might be nice. We could set up a schedule based on edd (similar to the spotlight schedule) and then just do a person or two a day. Maybe the mama could share a bit about what she wants from the birth - her hopes and fears - then we could all respond with our blessings?

great idea! one nice thing we did at my blessingway was to wrap yarn around our wrists, then pass the ball on to the next person until we were all wrapped together in a circle. after lots of blessings and wishes, we cut the yarn at the end, and everyone wound up with a nice soft bracelet. the idea is that we will all wear them until the baby comes.

many of us in this ddc have beautiful bead necklaces from the exchange that we will wear in labor to remember the positive energy and sentiments from the other mamas.

if anyone didn't participate in the bead exchange, but wants something to wear during labor, perhaps we can do a virtual "bracelet circle" for you along with the online blessingway...
