Is Anyone Unusually Tired?

I can sleep like no one's business these days! I took two naps yesterday and got up at 9:30am this morning and then slept again from 10:30am to 2:15pm! I'm making sure to eat and drink now, do some chores, and then go back to bed! Sheesh! I have one week three days left before my EDD and am wondering if this is normal. It reminds me of my first trimester! On weekends I slept the whole day and would often fall asleep at work.
Is anyone else going through this?

It's absolutely normal, nothing unusual about it. Consider yourself lucky that you don't have other children to deal with and that you CAN take such naps. I would love to have that luxury. As it is, I'm lucky to get an hour of rest in the middle of the day while DD2 naps and DD1 plays on the computer. Most times she is done within 30 minutes and wants to play Chutes and Ladders. *yawn*

Oh my goodness I could sleep all day these days as well, it's ridiculous. I woke up at 6:15 this morning and went back to sleep from about 8:30 until 10am and I could totally fall asleep right now. I am very thankful DH is home to help out because I am super mean and cranky when I am tired these days. I need the naps for everyone's sanity.

I wish i could sleep more these days, i'm still up in the middle of the night for a few hours. I'm not catching up during the day. I probably could if my ds would nap longer.

I'm not usually a coffee drinker, but I have been having half a cup many days just to keep up

I sleep as often as I can... unfortunately between contractions, baby kicks and tiny bladder syndrome, I never get to sleep more than 2-3 hours at a time. When I am awake, I'm so tired I don't feel like doing anyting.

Please let real labor start soon!

Yes! No toddlers to take care of here, this babe is my first. Today I woke up at 7am, went for a swim from 10-11, ate lunch and then napped until 1:30. So much for getting that closet re-ordered. Tonight I'm tired and goin to bed early (soon I hope!). I think part of it for me might be the waking up in the middle of the night 3-5x (that and the growing baby...) . I am 8 days from my official dd but I have it in my mind to get some rest in case I go into labor. Naps and chocolate frozen yogurt are my "I'm super-pregnant" indulgences these days.

I am super tired, too. I almost cried when I had to leave the house to go grocery shopping yesterday--I just didn't know if I would be able to do it.

I am so tired lately I can hardly stand it. Over the weekend I took 2 naps a day because my husband was around to take care of our daughter. During the week, I can't nap at all because she doesn't nap anymore. Of course she stopped shortly after I got pregnant.

I'm like a cranky toddler. I hate taking naps. I'll do anything to avoid taking them. But i'm getting to the point where i'm just nodding off sitting up. lol. So... I guess my body is forcing me into them whether I like it or not. I just took a two hour nap cus I couldn't keep my eyes open at 9pm. I'll go to bed again later... i'm not ready to give in to sleep the whole night yet...
