I have a very dear friend who just moved to the San Francisco area with her family. Her DH works a lot and has a pretty long commute. She has two kids: DS almost 4 and DD about 1. Right now they are staying in Santa Rosa and are hoping to settle in Rohnert Park or Cotati.
She is contemplating homeschooling her kids, but she feels kinda isolated right now (and it sounds like her DS does, too). She's looking for some community and I think a homeschool playgroup with young kids would be an ideal match for them.
Can you help? If you have any resources you can suggest to me to pass on to her or you don't mind PMing me with your phone number so she can call you, that would be fantastic. She doesn't have internet access right now.
