I am horrible...

Every time I see a new birth posted here I want to cry- especially if the mama was due after me. I feel so terrible and jealous. I am miserable and sore and I just want to have this baby so desperately. Ok I feel better now that I admitted it. Sorry to you all - your babies are beautiful and I really am happy for you. I am just so bummed and sad for me too! The hormones are certainly raging hard...

Not part of your due date club but I accidentally saw your post and had to respond to give you a hug!

Going overdue is SO not fun. I thought I was going to be in the Guinness Book of World Records for world's longest pregnancy.

Don't feel bad about your hormones either- you're so allowed to feel this way!

Just be encouraged that you'll birth soon, mama! You really will- even though it may seem like every day is twice as long as it should be.

Oooh, yes, I'm with you, Alyssa. I will never ever have this baby. I'm not uncomfortable, really, but I'm 40 + 6 by ovulation, and beginning to get a wee bit anxious about it.

Can we be next?

I could have written this myself. I feel like I'm in hell. My ctx are getting more painful but not more consistent. They're excruitiating if I'm in any position other than standing, so I haven't really been able to sleep in days. I'm getting to where I just want to march into a hospital and demand they take the baby out now. Meanwhile other ladies here are having babies left and right and although I know it's pointless to think about it that way, it just seems so unfair.

Being in pain makes it really hard to be yourself. Don't beat yourself up for how you are feeling.

Don't worry hon! There's a full moon coming up. Maybe that will help? *hugs*

I'm super jealous and only 37 weeks today! You are not alone...

If you're horrible then so am I, and I'm not even due yet!

I hear ya - I think pretty much everyone is due after me, since my dd was Sept 1. <sigh> oh well - I keep reminding myself that they are pretty easy to take care of on the inside - maybe I need to not remind myself so much....

I'm right there with you. I haven't been on as much the last few days because all of the babies being born and mine is still comfy in my tummy.
I'm only 2 days over due, but yea, the fealings are there.

I just have to remind myself that every woman's body is different and that there is a reason their little one came early, and there is a reason mine is staying late. It's hard, but helps a little.

Me, too Alyssa. I will be 41 weeks tomorrow and am so ready to get this baby out. I am so happy for the new mamas here, but it's torture. I want to be writing my birth story and seeing : for me.

Hold everything mamas! I just had an epiphany! Didn't we all promise ourselves that we would do nice, fun, enjoyable things if we were overdue (or even if we just felt crummy)?

So whatcha gonna do today to pamper yourself? Massage? Pedicure? Long nap? Warm bath? Cool swim?

Ok, ok, I don't have any idea what I'm going to do to pamper myself either, but I'm going to figure something out!

I just wanted to say thank you so much to all of you. I don't think I would be handling this any near as well as I am if I didn't have your support and encouragement. Thanks for helping making a crazy pregnant lady a little less crazy!
