Do you mean this weekend's Friends of Missouri Midwives retreat? MsBlack, did you hear about it? It's been all over the newsletter and mailing lists all year... are you on there?

I'm going!

Hey Jessitron--

While I know some of the FOMM leadership and get calls from them now and then (), I'm not officially on the list. So I hadn't heard of this. I did however make contact IRL with someone who knows about this event and has filled me in a bit. Probably won't be able to make it though....but maybe, at least for some part of it.

thanks!

Can you share more info, pm would be fine. I have company in town so I'm not sure how much extra time I will have, but I'd like to see if it's something I can squeeze in.

I'm new here, a Missourian, and have heard of this Friends of MO Midwives but not much. Would it be something that a non-mom (yet) could get involved with? Are there meetings? The website does not list much info, but I am interested. I want to do anything possible to get midwifery as a viable option for all Missouri women who want it!!

Welcome Nancy CPM are now legal here, but there will always be work to be done. I never have gotten invovled w/ FOMM even though I always meant to, but they do have a yahoo group to send out messages, meeting times, etc.

(Also MO is a swing state It went red the last 2 elections, and may be leaning that way now but historically, its not a red state)
