Any good doctors to help with diabetes in Tacoma/Seattle areas?

Hubby was just this evening diagnosed with Type 2, and we'd love to find someone who is really good to help him with it.

Also, any nutritionists/dieticians in the area you'd recommend (or maybe a doc with a nutritionist in his/her office!)?

We're open to MD, DO, and ND alike.

A homeschooling mama friend's dh is an endocrinologist at Minor and James in Seattle, Matt Davies is his name. There is a good bio on their website about him. I don't know Matt very well personally, but I know from his wife that he is very involved with his patients-hates to take long distance vacations because he does not want to be out of touch. I think he is a very good hearted guy, and most certainly all about education, prevention of complications and diet. ;>)

Thank you so much! We'll look into him. Hubby works right in that area, so that would certainly be convenient.
