but humor me, and confirm my suspicions.

Friends of ours got married in 2004, and my DH served as best man. For Christmas that year, the bridal party all got beautifully framed portraits of the whole party.

That couple is now waiting for their divorce to be final.

We still have the (nice) picture frame with their wedding photos in it. It's okay to take those out and reuse the frame, right?

(I'm a packrat from way back, trying to reform. I'm worried about some kind of karma or something from reusing the frame.
)

Yes, I can see why you'd no longer want to display that particular photograph anymore. I would keep the photo though, and move it to an album. It will still be fun to look at that photo in 20 years, if only to see what DH looked like with hair and all dressed up.

Yup I agree - go ahead and reuse the frame. I too sometimes ponder the "karma" of it all but as a divorced woman who is remarried (AND my current DH is driving the minivan MY XH bought me 10 yrs ago AND watching my x's BIG tv) I don't put a lot of credence in "things".

REUSE all you want!

Your XH didn't happen to write a country song about that, did he?!

OP, I think you can reuse the frame. In fact, I am sure the former bride isn't hanging onto those pictures either! (although she may have donated the frame to goodwill along with burning the pics, lol!)
