Oooo, I HEART etsy

I've been there a year as of last May. My shop is going fairly well, but I've decided to really step it up a notch and my new goal is to average 30 sales a month. I'd like to pay for a good chunk of my spring homebirth from my etsy sales. I sell mostly vintage items these days but I really want to get back into my hand dyed, recycled, respun cotton yarns (yeah, say that 5 times fast LOL ) over the winter.
Who asked what our favorite part of etsy was?
So many things seem to be my favorite part...the treasuries, the cheap listing and selling fees, the quick renewals to bring you to the top of the search engine, etc...
I really like the teams. I've joined a couple...eco etsy and etsy vintage street teams. I'm actually in major competition with most of the vintage street teams, but it really brings us closer being on the same team, then just passing by in the forums and feeling that competitive vibe, ya know. The teams hold sales and specials and create team treasuries to help promote each other. It brings us to a less competitive state and really helps to create friendships

I also really like it in the forums. It's huge (similar in size to MDC probably) so it's hard to get to know people personally in there but if you keep at it, you'll find it very fun, welcoming and, staying active in the forums seems to make a lot of people more sales, so I try to pop in there a few times a day.
I could talk about Etsy all day, but I'll spare y'all. I'd love to see your guy's shops and share some feedback if you want to pm me your link
