Recommend a doula in DC?

I recommend Alana Rose....she is also teaches hypnobirthing classes in addition to being a birth support doula! and she is one of the nicest people I have ever known!

Nicole Jolley with Belly Birth Services - she works with Ruth Carol Touhey, referenced above. Nicole was with me for my first birth (homebirth, but she does hospitals too), and she was absolutely amazing - it was like she knew exactly what I needed every step of the way. She will come to your house or the hospital whenever you want her too and stay right by your side the entire time, recommending positions or ways to help with pain or just talking you through it. She was great at letting my husband assume the role he wanted, while staying helping him help me. She was also amazing at helping me after the birth - she cleaned up my whole house, was awesome at helping me with latch issues with breastfeeding, and even went to get me a bagel sandwich
