the most expensive yarn i have purchased

because it was so pretty. now what can i do with it? i got it at Tuesday Morning so it was less than retail - it is a discontinued yarn so I doubt I'll find more - and I went to another nearby TM store to see if they had it but they did not so I have 5 rolls of this yarn - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v670/dbjorn/yarn.jpg
It says it is 50 gr/1.75 oz - 60 yards of it in a roll and is 52% polyamid, 18% wool, 18% acrylic and 12% viscose (whatever that is : )
So, I paid $4.99 a roll which seems like a lot for such a small roll, but it is so pretty that I got it. So, what can I make with it? I was thinking I could probably get two scarves out of it maybe? Any other suggestions? Was it overpriced?
Thanks!

Two scarfs or a hat/scarf maybe?

It is very pretty. Yarn here sometimes runs 11$ for a small ball so I don't think you over paid.

I think I would do a drop stitch scarf and an a berret type hat- maybe this?

or maybe an anthropologie inspired caplet? I think that would be stunning over a holiday dress for parties and whatnot!

Oh- and totally not expensive- you got a deal!

Tuesday Morning? Where are you? Is it a chain?
I always figured it was some funky local place.
You're reminding me that I like to go check what they have in their craft section and I haven't stopped in for awhile...

That is a good idea! I like that. Does anyone know of a good fairly simple pattern for one?

By the way lilyka, I saw you are in Sioux Falls - we went through there on our trip this summer - stayed the night there on the way in (drove from North Tx to North Dakota) and visited Falls Park on our way back to Tx. It was fun and my kids loved the park!
