Fetal tissue in vaccines...sensationalism, or not?

If I were to get a hold of some vaccine packet inserts...

And a medical dictionary...

Could I definitively conclude that there is actual fetal tissue in vaccines?

I've heard way too much conflicting info on this.

I'm sure someone else can explain this better...my understanding is that the viruses are 'attenuated' (?) or grown on the culture (aborted fetus, monkey kidney cells, etc) and then the viruses is filtered off of that.

But, according to the CDC, the vaccines actually do contain these things (bovine extract, monkey kidney tissue, gelatin, human serum:

The SV-40 virus from monkeys that got into the oral polio vaccine is a good example also.

You can find all the vaccine manufacturer's package inserts online.

For example, here is Merck's MMR package insert.

They don't try to hide the fact that these cell lines are used. And you don't need a medical dictionary - just look for WI-38, MRC-5, RA273, WI-26, VA4, HEK-293, and PER C6 - those refer to the fetal cell lines currently in use.
