Favorite wrap/shawl pattern?

I saw this wrap at Wal-Mart yesterday and I love the look of it, the drape of it. But it was cheap acrylic and I just knew it wouldn't look very nice after a short time. But, it inspired me that I want a wrap/shawl. I'm looking for something comfy I can wrap myself up in it, but not overly large and would get in the way in dealing with a baby and three other children.
Do you have a favorite pattern? I'd like to keep the needle size at size 5 at the smallest. I've scrolled through tons of pages on Ravelry, but nothing is really looking like what I have in my head. Has anyone done the Pie Are Squared shawl by E. Zimmerman?

I was in at my LYS awhile back and the owner was finishing the most beautiful shawl/wrap. It was as plain as can be- as in just plain old stockinette. She used about 1000 yds of dk alpaca and all she did was cast on 400 stitches and she decreased 1 stitch on each side on every row. so it ended up being a big triangle. It was beautiful!!! I really want one of these because of how functional it would end up being....
