This is an artical from a news report that ran last night on my local news (WXYZ Channel 7 Action News Detroit, MI).

Investigation: Autism and Informed Inoculation

Parent Lynn Redwood suspects that mercury may be responsible for her son's autism. "My son was born completely normal, walking, talking, meeting all his developmental landmarks," Lynn remembers. "Shortly after his first birthday he started to regress. He lost his speech and language skills He just started drifting off into his own world."

"It was a very subtle, slow sort of decline down a slippery slope into autism," Lynn says. "At two months of age, he received three vaccines that one day. He received 62.5 micrograms of ethylmercury, directly injected. His allowable exposure, according to EPA, was .5, so he received 125 times his allowable exposure to mercury."

And also do not forget the rise in Mercury in our environment-which is double whamy for children like the one mentioned above. Especially in California where we have one of the highest amounts of mercury in our ocean.

Also, in May of last year, the EPA office of the Children's Health Protection stated that 8 percent of women within childbearing age have high or elevated mercury levels in their blood. This can cause developmental problems in their children-it is a neurotoxin remember! The reason they concluded? Smokestack emisions!

I am not saying that vaccines are not the culprit, I am just stating that not just mercury in vaccines can cause developmental problems and we must stop this!

I'd fall outta my chair if I saw something like this on my local news!

Action News found nothing to support a conclusion that all vaccines should be avoided. Our point is that your healthcare provider may not be telling you all you need to know to decide exactly which inoculations are right for you and your children.

Well this whole issue is painful for us. My son experienced a reaction to the single measles innoculation. I don't know if the timing of his setbacks were just coincidental or not. I just don't know. But his descent started within a month of receiving that one shot.

I was an 'informed' vaxer. We did one at a time, spaced three months apart, skipping the really iffy ones. I know, they are all iffy.

Anyway bleh.

annalily, I was surprised as well. The news giving us information so that we can make an 'informed decision'. That's why I felt I needed to share it.

It's just I have worked with kids with so much hard lead found thoughout their body it is a shame that the studies are lacking to really pin point it!!! I agree that mercury should be completely eliminated also Jaque. I am glad that at least here the information you have is well recieved and taken seriously-thanks

The piece tonight was excellent. I wish you all could have seen it. Steve Wilson should win an award for this investigation.

He interviewed Rep. Dan Burton whose grandson developed Autism. Rep. Dan Burton has been fighting to get Mercury out of our vaccines.

He also interviewed The Geier's who have been extensively researching this link as well.

The story will continue tomorrow night; I’m really looking forward to it.
