East bay Mamas get together revisited...

Now that the summer is over and (most) of us are back to a more regular schedule, who wants to revive a weekly or bi-monthly get together at totland (or maybe indoor places if the weather is yucky).

Molly and I are most available on Monday and Thursday mornings, though we could certainly work around others' schedules.

Any takers? :

im in

We have a weird schedule because DH comes home really late, so we wake up really late and DD is still doing a morning nap.

But we'll try to work around things.

Great! We can do some afternoons, if I manage to get dd down for her nap on the early side. Later mornings are also doable on occasion.

Anyone else interested?

I'm a few blocks from Totland and have both boys (one has preschool MWF) on Thurs AM's- would love to meet up sometime!

i live in the east bay; antioch, probably a bit far away from most of you, but i was wondering what totland is? we have a group of us in concord, antioch, oakley, and brentwood and i'd like to share with them about totland.

I'm in oakland with my 20 month old DD. I'd probably be able to meet - depending on the day. Let's see...here's our schedule (sometimes we do gymboree on Tuesday/Thursdays at 3:30, it's open play time for members), Tues morning we have music and friday morning we have Waldorf.

The Zoo might also be a fun place to meet! So, ill throw out an idea:
The Oakland Zoo this next Wednesday the 24 (depending on weather) after nap time (which for US is usually around 3PM). The Zoo is open till 4:30 (can't get in past 4 though). I'm a member and can let one other adult in with me for free - kids under 2 are free.

ALSO, there are free concerts on sundays (3-6 PM) for the next four weeks in Oakland:

Whoops, I didn't see this and we went to the zoo today!

i won't be in the east bay much longer i'm moving to west marin but i will would love to see others before i move and could get to totland on a monday. after i move i will still be in this part of the bay sometimes i plan to come to the eat bay baby wearers meetings which happen the third friday of every month at totland when wheather is nice and otherplaces when it is to cold or wet.

hope i can see some local mdc mamas before i move!

We live in San Rafael, but i wouldn't mind an excuse to come out to the East Bay. I have an almost 20 mo dd. Mind if we join you all. We're available Thursday Mornings definitely and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons. However i have never been to Totland so I'm not sure where it is.

Hi everyone! We are back from a great summer up on the farm and would love to get together. Until ds2's daycare co-op starts we are pretty much open. Ds1 comes from preschool at 1. So a morning or mid afternoon will work for us.

dmitri has this amazing power to know when i make plans and to then wake up at a totally different time than he has been waking up so that the plans don't happen. anyhow instead of waking up at 9:30 ish which is normal these days he has woken up at 7. if i don't show up at totland it is because he has crashed and is napping. i sure hope i can come i am really looking forward to going to totland today and seeing some other mdc mamas.
