Aran sweater (cardigan) pattern

Thread Starter
Hey fellow knitters -

I'm looking for a good, solid Aran cardigan sweater pattern. I want to knit one each for myself, dh, dd and ds (so, 1 woman's S, 1 men's S, 5T, and 3T).

Anyone know where I might find such a pattern - or maybe you can suggest a book specifically about Aran sweaters (with patterns, of course)?

Here are some ideas of what I'm looking for:

(the adult can be a little more form-fitting, and does not need pockets)

Any ideas? Thanks!

Join Ravelry if you aren't already there. It is the best way to find patterns now IMO. Membership is free.

I like Knit Picks "One for the Whole Clan"

Yankee Knitter has some nice Aran sweaters.

Their patterns are very easy to follow. My first cabled project was their child's aran sweater. Here it is:

For women I really like the Central Park Hoody. I want one sooo badly. Elizabeth Zimmerman has some good aran patterns as does Debbie Bliss. I would just search Ravelry if you're on there or try a google search. Loads of patterns should come up.
