And we're home!

With the baby still in my belly!

We decided it was just too risky to attempt the Prepidil today as it has the greatest risk of sending me into labor as soon as the hurricane hits.

If I end up going into labor on my own, so be it, that was just the way it was mean to be

My BP was more than excellent and baby is fabulous - so healthwise, we're both good to stay pregnant for at least a few more days.

So assuming no natural labor over the weekend, we'll give this a go again on Monday.

More indepth explanation and a video of her heartbeat on our blog :

Oh, and I did make a smidge of progress from Monday - from 50% effaced to 75% - but still 1 cm dilated. I guess the EPO is working!

That's fantastic Kati, so glad that both you and baby get a few more days. Keep taking that EPO!

YAY! Effacement is the hard work for first time moms. Typically it takes a while to get fully effaced and dilation doesn't really start until after that (for a first time mom). So 75% is GREAT NEWS! And it makes you more favorable should an induction become necessary, which is also good news. YAY! :
