What glue is best for craft (young children type crafts)? My DD is working with a dab on glue, plus I also have Elmer's glue and neither seem to really...stick. Is there something better? She's working with those puffy balls and buttons right now.

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

:We just use either normal Elmer's or a glue stick. Our problem tends to be too much glue, rather than not enough.

Oh, that's definitely an issue here too! LOL
But, it doesn't dry very quickly on anything other than paper. The little puffs she was glueing together and also adding buttons to are still drying. Little kid has little patience for that kind of waiting.
I did try using fabric glue and it stuck and dried really quickly. But, the bottle I have is kind of messy, so I'm thinking I'll get her a smaller bottle of fabric glue she can use for crafts that aren't paper.

We like the sparkly gel kind of Elmers, lol. It seems to be stickier than the white glue. And it's sparkly (the blue kind called Galactic Glitter Glue. I've also seen a red version at Target). I don't know if there is a non sparkly version. It doesn't dry particularly fast but things stay put better while they dry.

For younger kids, I always liked regular liquid glue in a small cup with a paintbrush.
