my dd was conceived at the beginning of September. she was due May 27 2005. Not that we planned on that particular timing (man, there was not much of a plan at all. I was shocked to find out I was preggers), but it truly was the best I could imagine. I would be thrilled to have another May or June baby.
Dh is doing his MBA right now and he will be done at the beginning of June next year. so in a way, it's probably better to have a June baby, so dh can be done with school and give us his undivided attention. But still, May sounds so darn good to me. I am not sure how to explain why I loved the timing of the seasons so much, but I really did. In winter, I wasn't so big yet and then spring came, and I could shed that huge winter coat and really feel one with the sun and the nature with that beautiful big belly. I loved that dd was born when it was warm. We could go outside a lot, plus, going places with her was not so scary because it was not the flu season. By the time winter came, she was older so I was worried less.
I know that this is a bit ungrateful. That anyone should be happy any time they get their desired bfp. and believe me, I will be too, no matter what month. but am I allowed to dream and hope a bit?
