My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...
This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...
This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...
To anyone looking for a carrier, BECO is the brand!

My two kiddos and I are going on dh's business trip to Minneapolis next week. Can anyone recommend some great activities for an almost 4 yo and almost 1 yo? (the little one's happy anywhere of course!)

ComoTown is a cute little amusement park with kiddie rides a-plenty, and it's steps away from the Como Park Zoo. The Zoo is FREE, the park is also free to get into, and the rides are very cheap.

The Zoo asks for a donation for admission but it's not required.

The Children's Museum of Minnesota has LOTS of fun activities (downtown St. Paul) www.mcm.org

if you're going to be here on Tuesday or Wednesday, head to the Parenting Oasis. It's in Minneapolis. A bunch of mamas sitting around drinking coffee and bonding while their children play together. It's awesome.
I figured there had been a thread for this! We are visiting Minneapolis this weekend and are hoping to find a few things that are not all big mall related. I found the Richardson Nature Center and play area, the big zoo, and Wonderment store so far.
Any good organic cafe/restaurants (we are staying in the Bloomington area for a conference my husband is attending)? Also - food coop or local organic foods stores?
