Ooooh, good point!
Oh, my word, that whole scene with the guy and his hands nailed to the chair was just ick. And they kept coming back to it.
And then he unsticks the tools from the chair with his pierced hands!! Gah!

Agreed, Claire's plot was awkward and choppy this time.
I don't think Nathan and Noah had a alternative plan from the start, but the Hunter is out of Nathan's control now, and Nathan is trying to get back into control. That episode showed Claire's two dads coming together to protect her. Zeljko Ivanek plays a good bad guy, very tough and menacing. Even if I'm taller than him.
I'm glad Nathan still isn't willing to kill Peter.
I fault the writers that Nathan's motivation doesn't seem clear to me. I still don't get why he's rounding up heroes. They're still copying X Men. In the first movie a senator pushes to have mutants rounded up, but then is turned into a mutant himself. And Tim Kring swears he hadn't even heard of X Men when he developed Heroes.

One more thing, Dante Basco (Prince Zuko from Avatar) is the nerdy shop owner in an ad during Heroes. I think the ad is for Verizon, but now I can't remember. The ad was on last night and last week's episode.
