On-line or Computer Curriculum

Thread Starter
My son is very, very much a visual learning. I find that anything that is in "computer" medium he is very successful at.

Does anyone know of a curriculum that is completed mostly on the computer either on-line or through a CD?

We are new at this and just started this month. The typical worksheet and paper method is not working for him. Feels like I pulled him from school because he doesn't learn this way but then he is doing them at home. KWIM?

TIA

Both Oak Meadow and Calvert, IIRC, have online curricula as an option.

Time4Learning is completely online. When my son was 8 he really liked utilizing that. It's $20/month for unlimited time/access. (BTW, we don't use it now because we've moved on to Oak Meadow -- and I don't receive any consideration/pay/discounts for promoting it. T4L has a program to compensate families that promote it -- and I don't do that.)

I'm sure there are others out there as well...

Time 4 Learning is the only online curriculum I know of too. We use www.brainpopjr.com and love it, but that's more of a supplement.

if you end up buying it, purchase the family package - NOT the homeschool one. the family package is cheaper & we pay $7.95 a month for it. hth
