The Mental Fitness Center is proud to present:
“The Myths of Motherhood”

We will discuss the complexities surrounding a woman’s role as a mother...

• How do women approach it?
• What preconceived notions go along with how we approach and assume
our roles as mothers?
• Expectations, anticipation, and the quest for perfection
• And various other topics that go along with preparing for, coming in to,
and sustaining our roles as mothers

We will tackle this subject with various holistic and wellness professionals.
These professionals will include, but not necessarily be limited to: midwives,
OBGYNs, mental health professionals, chiropractors, child birth educators,
lactation support specialists, massage therapists, birth doulas, naturopathic
doctor, etc.

These professionals will share their insights and experiences with attendees.
Both professionals and attendees will have open dialogue regarding the
“myths” and establishing the “realities” of assuming one of the best (and most
challenging) jobs a woman will ever pursue- motherhood.

Please join us and bring your questions, comments and insight.

I don't know if Karen will be there or not. I think this is actually being hosted by Janice Weaver (hypnobirther).

I thought Karen was hosting too. That's who approached me about it again.

Oh....maybe she is. I got the e-mail from Janice and because Karen just had a baby, I just assumed. Sorry!
