kefir grains, kombucha scobies, yogurt starters, etc????

Ooh I want kefir grains, too! We got ours from someone in DC last year but somehow lost them (?who knows). Maybe someone out there has kefir and can give away some grains?

And we always just make yogurt with a little bit of store-bought, as long as it has active cultures it'll work. Then you can use the last bit of your home-made yogurt to make some more.

Also, I saw the kefir starters at New Life... though I think that's different than the grains. My MIL makes kefir from the store-bought starter, and it doesn't make the big grains like our used to.

do you think the goats milk yogurt would totally work the same? i think that is a silly question, isnt it?

Yeah, I think it would work the same. Do you need any yogurt-making instructions? My hubbie loves making yogurt!

I used to belong to some yahoo kefir and kombucha groups and that was where I got my starters. Yoghurt starters I got at New Life Health Center.
