I started a thread about this a few days ago.

I finally did a google search and what I read was part good part bad. The articles pretty much said that for those mamas who will have their water break at or before labor begins, the moon can definitely bring it on. The gravitational pull of the moon can affect the bag of water just like it can affect the oceans. But the bad part, is that the full moon, while it can make Bh's more numerous, it won't bring on the real dialating ones. So, that is part of the reason the hospitals will fill up on full moon nights. Lots of mamas to be will be going in thinking that they are in labor because of all these contractions, but they will be checked and rechecked with not change, and then sent home.

So while I am exited that the full moon could bring me my baby, I do not want it to cause my bag of water to break beforehand, and if the moon does bring on contractions, I will not be a happy woman if it only brings on a full day of BH's. Last months full moon did that. Every half hour from when I woke to when I went to bed. I got a taste of what prodomal labor could be like, and it was not fun at all! We'll see what happens!
