I need an other too! We do some of our shopping at Wal-Mart, but try to most at local stores.

No, for ethical reasons. I don't care how cheap they are. They could give the stuff away and I still wouldn't set foot there.

Walmart is horrible to thier employees, they rule the cheap world, and sell an enormus amount of useless crap, and think they are gods. I can't understand this. When they install solar panels, pay people a liveable wage, and sell enviornmentally products(not just knockoffs) for a reasonable price I may reconcider but for now I steer clear..

I only shop at walmart when absolutely necessary. I too am one of the victims of living in a small town with one department store...the evil walmart. Sometimes I don't have any other option, literally, when the kitty needs litter or food and I don't have the gas or time to run to a town fourty miles away. I've bought a few things there since I've moved to my new apartment, but that will be stopping now that we have some extra money for gas and have some time budgeted in for bulk shopping.

We hardly ever do. I can't remember what it was, but there was something that I knew only they would have that we needed (or "needed"), and I mentioned we were going there. DS started fussing at me that we couldn't go there b/c they treat their employees horribly!

(a) I've taught him well.
and
(b) He keeps me honest.
