Will you do anything for PP belly blubber?

Just curious if you're gonna wear a girdle or wrap your belly or whatever...I remember after all my births I had such a hard time the first few days or so trying to catch my breath, I thought wrapping it may help.

Spanx

I've been wearing them because with them I can fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans. But feeling contained has been a nice side effect, too. I'm trying to to suck it in at all times, as that's the best abdominal exercise you can do, but it helps to have some physical support on the outside, too .

I'm thinking about it this time... I don't want anything uncomfortable, though.

I wrapped my belly last time with one of the wraps I had laying around the house. I wrapped myself from just under my breasts and around my hips and it felt SO nice. I could definitely tell a difference when I did wrap, in that I didn't feel so out of breath and like I had just been hit by a train. I plan on doing the same things after this baby is born (which is very, very soon, hopefully!).

Wear one mean girdle and walk. Hopefully some exercise will work! Yikes! I'm so nervous about pp blubber!

I am scared to think what my tummy is gonna look like after this baby and all this extra water. I have 4 times the amount of water a woman should have (major polyhydramnios) and this pregnancy I got new stretchmarks because of it. The stretchmarks don't bother me - it's the skin that is gonna be hanging and jello like after this water breaks and the baby comes out that is scaring me. LOL!

I think I have less blubber after this baby than the last, and I was much larger this time. I'm not doing anything about it. I guess it just doesn't bother me much this time.

I had never thought about doing any of this. Does wrapping yourself make you feel better physically? I don't mean because you look in the mirror and look better, but actually physically more in shape? Will it help you get more in shape quicker? I'm going to check out spanx now because of this thread!

With my first, I didn't wear anything- I don't think I needed to...
but this time, with as big as my belly got, and as painful as the c-section recovery was, it helped SO much to have something 'holding me in' for the first couple weeks pp.
I just wore my bella band, the pregnancy band that helps you wear your jeans all the way through. I think spanx are the same idea.

I have a Bella band that I plan on wearing to keep things secure.
