I just posted about my friend's puppy. I went to her house to take him outside and he has very watery diarrhea. He has gone 2x in the past hour. Could this be from diet change, stress or something more serious? She said the people she bought him from said they were feeding him "something from safeway" and she is now feeding him Nutro for Puppies.
I'd be worried about more than a diet change, considering where the puppy came from. I'd have him in for a stool test and an exam today. Diarhhea can be very dangerous in pups...dehydration...
I will tell her she should take him in ASAP! He is acting fine, trying to play a little but he is very whiny when he is not being interacted with or when he is not investigating something. She got him Sat from a family that said their neighbor's Australian Shepherd got their Boxer pregnant. I think they are moving so they needed to get rid of them ASAP.
I just called our vet and spoke to a vet tech. She said because of the color she believes it is mostly because of a food change. She said if it doesn't clear up in 48 - 72 hours he should be brought in. She had me check his teeth and since his molars are beginning to come in she said he is probably 7 or close to 8 weeks old.

The part I bolded sounds like totally normal six week old puppy behaviour to me
