Hey girls, how goes the beginning of the week for y'all?
We had a crazy weekend. Did any of you hear that the hurricane passed over us here in Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio yesterday? It was so crazy, and we didn't expect it at all. We had winds of around 75 mph, and something like 70,000 (or was it 700,000?) people lost power. Our neighborhood is one of the only small "pockets" in our region that has electricity right now, and my friend said they told her that her power would be out for 7 days! We lost about 3 shingles off of our roof, but one of our neighbors lost probably 50% of their shingles, so they were up nailing tarps onto their roof yesterday afternoon - thank goodness it didn't rain. We drove around yesterday evening not knowing how bad it was, and saw huge (maybe 60ft) trees snapped in half or completely uprooted, trees fallen on peoples' houses and on power lines, etc. It looks like a tornado went through. It's really unbelievable.

Guess I'll have to pull myself together soon since DD1 has gymnastics in 2 hours, sigh. Normally we'd skip it, but this is the one class she has been able to somewhat continue taking since her anxiety started. She really wants to try and make it through the class today so I'll drag my butt out of the house so she can go.

Came out great. I can't wait for hubby to come home from his trip and see them. He'll be shocked I was able to get them centered and level.
: Finally!!! And DH seems pretty cool with the whole thing now. We keep getting conflicting info from our insurance company, so I think DH is resolved with the fact that we probably won't know how much will be out-of-pocket until after the delivery. It was mostly just the asking questions interview thing, so my first real appointment will be next week (the next time she comes to town).
I busted my behind around the house today too and got a TON of stuff done. I will say 1) I hate home improvement projects, and 2) I am tired!!
