Common Ground Fair?

Anyone going to the Common Ground fair in Unity this weekend?

I'm really hoping to go. We'll see. DH is working and can't go, but I'm going to see if MIL/FIL will go with me and the kids. They are a little hesitant about the crunchy-granola factor, but I'm going to try to convince them that it's super-cool.

This is the first time in probably 12 years I am not planning on going. Of course, come this weekend I may change my mind DH is working and I just don't feel like taking DS alone. I know he'd love all the animals but there's just so many people. He did have a great time last year- the kid section, looking at the animals, hiding in the apple trees...

It's free on Friday for school groups, so I'll be taking my students and dh and dd will meet me there. I can't wait--I love cgf! My class will be entering some veggies. Last year they won 2 blue ribbons and one red!

I really wanted to go on Friday. However, I'm pregnant and the baby is sitting really low and right on my bladder. I'm afraid of long potty lines and long food lines for that matter
Maybe if I could make it first thing Friday morning it would be okay.

Its funny, when I think of previous years I think of being really hot and needing shade. But right now it is SO fall like and cool. Weird!

We're going - don't know which day yet, but I'm really excited to go. The people though - whew! so many!! I'm just not a crowd person, and that's the only drawback. Of course, it's also great how many people are there, too. I'm definitely going to pack food this time - I waited in line for more than an hour for lunch food last year.

Me! We'll be there Saturday afternoon for a few hours. I think we'll bring some food but we live really close so hopefully we can skip any actual meal there. I'm excited for the farmer's market. This year I have a food saver so whatever we won't eat next week will get frozen. I'm really excited to go, I've been looking forward to it all year.

Ok, now I'm mad. We were up there on Sunday and I saw *no* cloth diapers except the ones my DS was wearing. And I was looking!
