DD said it would be this week....

So when I asked my DD (almost 2.5 years old) when she would meet her brother, she said it would be this week. I thought Tuesday, but...

Woke up this morning with a bunch of strong contractions, but i'm not getting my hopes up. I still have more cooking to do!

It has been about 6 hours, and i'm still contracting fairly regular. : : MIL coming down for reinforcements just in case. Got beans and lasagna cooking. Now for the enchiladas and green chile stew.... :

Dang - aren't you putting the rest of us to shame? I've not cooked in weeks. I am at home today - decided that working when 39 weeks pregnant was just stupid

I told DH I ~might~ make some hamburger helper for dinner!

Cooking...i dont remember the last thing i cooked..other than a frozen pizza....lol.
Oh i did cook some dinners for the freezer. But that's about it.

DH is at the Thai restaurant picking up what I "cooked" right now.

Well, the contractions got too strong before I got more food cooked And we got the pool filled with little time to spare, but Baby boy Z arrived at 4:39pm!!

So the official stats are:

8lb 10oz
21" long
9/15/08 at 4:39pm
born in the water, and in the caul into his mamas hands
labor was about 4-5 hours long :
and get this: he's acting like one of *those* newborns, all sleepy and mellow!! It is so weird....
