Columbia, SC Area People: I just wanted to let you all know about my AWESOME church. We are non-denominational, spirit filled, family oriented, and so much more - definitely not your average, run of the mill place. We are taught straight from the bible. Our praise and worship team literally ROCKS! We have a great children's ministry. My DD1 looks forward to Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings like she's going to the carnival. You learn more than you ever thought possible. Our church body is full of young families. We all breastfeed our babies. A lot of us even cloth diaper, co-sleep, eat healthy/organic, homeschool, baby wear, homebirth/birth center, etc. Our group is very diverse. Some have tattoos, different colored hair (pink, purple, bright red), piercings, and eclectic styles, while others are more average in dress. What I'm trying to say is we have folks from very different backrounds. Everyone is welcome. This is not the place where you get lost in the shuffle. We all know each other by name, and look forward to getting to know every new face that walks through our doors. A little over a year ago when I attended for the first time, I knew I'd found the place I'd been searching for for so long, the place where I belonged. My life has changed, and is so much more positive. I don't normally do this type of thing, but I really feel we have a lot of GREAT things going on at Heart's Cry.
