Where can I find the amount of aluminum in each flu shot brand?

The amount of mercury can be found here: http://www.vaccinesafety.edu/thi-table.htm

But I haven't yet been able find the amount of aluminum in each flu shot.

I think I may have found the surprising answer. I don't think there is any aluminum at all, in any flu vaccine. I read the product inserts for all the flu vaccines, and aluminum is not listed anywhere. However, aluminum is listed in the product inserts of some other vaccines I looked at.

I also read something on Mercola saying that in 2006 the flu vaccine makers were looking into adding aluminum, but hadn't yet.

i haven't ever really heard of an adverse reaction to the flu shot. is it common to have a bad reaction to it? i've been getting it every year since i was 8 or so, as i have asthma and they recommended it for me.

i've been thinking about getting the flu shot for my son. he's in a daycare and they told me that they do get the flu bad in there. what do you think?

Based on the fact that flu vaccines are based on the previous year's flu strains, and looking at the icky stuff that goes into them (including thimerosal) - I'd personally rather weather the flu. But then, I'm reasonably healthy to begin with so I can probably handle the flu reasonably well.

Having been around people who religiously get a flu vaccine every year, I'm really not convinced that the flu vaccine works at all. In fact, I've noticed that people I know who've gotten the vax are often sicker than I am (and with more frequency) during flu season!

This is JMO, but asthma alone isn't a good reason for a flu vax. Are you generally healthy otherwise? Do you have a lot of problems with other viral/respiratory illness? Have you considered other avenues of strengthening your immune system (nutrition, supplements, sodium ascorbate, Emer'gen-C, etc.) and preventing disease transmission?

I think the Dr Sears Vaccine Book lists how much of each ingredient is in all of the vaccines. It's a very informative book whether you're a vax'er or not. Highly recommend it.
