I stocked up on bulk items and I need to plan my meals around them. I have $200.00 to spend for two weeks. I will need to replenish my fresh fruits and veggies in one week but can do that from the farm stand and that needs to come out of the $200.00. Here's what I've got:
Black Beans
Pinto Beans
Red and Green Lentils
Yellow Split Peas
Small amount of Navy beans
Quinoa
Flour
Lots and lots of oatmeal
1 package soba noodles
potatoes
2 - 1lb packages pasta
4 large cans pasta sauce
3 onions
carrots
hummis mix
veggie broth mix
I want to buy ingredients that can be used in multiple ways to work with what I've got. We eat dairy, chicken and turkey. I'm trying to eat really healthy but save as much $ as possible. So while I could get loaf of bread at the mini mart for 89 cents I would rather spend $1.99 for a loaf and be able to pronounce and know all of the ingredients that are in it. YKWIM? Thanks in advance for your help.
