Still the same. Still the same amounts. Really, we haven't changed anything. We invest the same amount each month into our IRAs, and then into a general mutual funds account once the IRAs are maxed. We invest a small amount twice a month into DD's 529.

We are still doing our regular percentage contributions to our retirement and the same flat amount each month into the 529s. The only alteration I've made is that since DH got a modest raise this year, instead of upping our flat amount to college funds I'm using the small extra cash to pay down our relatively small 2nd mortgage faster. It can be paid off in 13 years early this way and will have a "guaranteed" return on investment at the 8% interest rate.

We are continuing to invest in our long term IRAs. We won't need that money for another 30 years.

But we have pulled all our other stocks because we wanted to have access to that money in the next 5 years, and yes, it was tanking. Even our broker said he thought it was a good idea. He was getting choked up actually. He said he had never experienced anything like this. He's in his sixties. We are using this money to pay off student loan debt. We have a serious plan right now to get completely out of debt by 2009.
