We just cut deer meat (mostly its what most people get ground up, I think) up into little thin strips and soak it in salt water (sometimes with red pepper flakes, sometimes not) for 24 hours or so, then dry it for a day or so. Tis wonderful

You guys are great! Thanks for the manual, it looks like there is more in there than the one I have thats ancient.
