Good Doula in Bozeman?

Anyone have a particular doula they recommend?

In particular, has anyone worked with Marianne Donch?

I haven't worked with Marianne, but I have talked to her many times. I borrowed a Maya RS from her for months for the babywearing group (eventually I just bought it). She is a total sweetheart though and I wish I would have known about her when I had all my problems with breastfeeding my son. To me the biggest positive about her is she is a lactation consultant. You can't beat a doula who will get you on the right track with breastfeeding. Although, I don't know if you have other kids and that's not a main concern of yours. I have met several doulas in town they are all so nice. The doula I had 3.5 years ago isn't doing it anymore though. Have you checked out mtchildbirthcollective.org ? There are several doulas on there that at least you can interview and see how they compare to Marianne. I know Sasha has a birth class and I have heard that it's fantastic. I know that probably didn't help much, sorry!!!

Sasha Lindberg of BellaBirthing bellabirthing.com is the BEST! She was our doula and child-birth educator for our first. I highly recommend her. She is very knowledgeable, well known and loved in the birthing community. Really...I could be here all day talking her up. Just give her a call and see for your self!
Marianne is the only DONA doula in Bozeman. I considered her as our doula and called her as I did all of the doulas in the area. I did not think we'd work well together.
But back to Sasha....go with her, you won't be disappointed!

I wanted to come back and say thank you for the input! I looked into both Marianne and Sasha - and decided to go with Sasha. She had the personality I was looking for and that I feel most comfortable with.

That is fantastic!! I am so glad you found someone you can work with! I hope you have a blessed birth. Come by the birthing center at one of our babywearing meetings! I would love to meet you!
