waldorf doll for 1-year-old?

Do you think the Dancing Rain Dolls baby doll would work for a 1-year-old if the hair was short or something? I really want to make dd a doll for her first b-day, but I don't like that puffy body kind.

I think they're beautiful. You could maybe just do a hat instead of the hair if you were concerned about the hair being a problem.

Isn't the hair the reason why you're not supposed to give them to infants? :

Agreed...sew a cap on it for now and add hair later if you feel the need. I really liked the baby doll I did for DS better when he was bald! I've gotten used to his hair now though.
