I'm still working but my back up already has my work to do so I'm looking at this site but it is a little slow lately since everyone is having their babies and I'm looking at cruise sites drooling over vacations! Today I'm looking for birth photography too so I can get ideas for pics that I want.
My EDD is Monday.

My EDD is either Saturday or Monday, depending on who you ask (me or my m/w). I was really hoping to go before now, but alas, that has not happened. I need to vacuum the house, there is pet hair everywhere. If (when) I am still pregnant this weekend, I will go get a pedicure. Otherwise, I'm just hanging out, waiting for the baby to come.

I've been sleeping as much as possible, praying, hoping, begging for labor, and trying not to stress out about the pressure I'm getting about my big baby. I had a Level II ultrasound today and the doctor said they always overestimate the weight of babies. Chances are she isn't as big as they are guessing (and guessing is what they're doing). I wish this would just go away. I am so hoping to go into labor this week so I can think about something else!
I've also been writing lectures for my class at the college even though it's been difficult to focus. I hope my students forgive me! I don't believe I told them I'm pregnant and they wouldn't know it because my class is online. hehe!

I'm trying to maintain an acceptable level of clean in my house because I do not want to start labor in a pigsty! That's about all I have the energy for. Last night I did some yoga exercises and meditation and I noticed my belly got much more symmetrical and it feels like baby is engaged (again... I keep feeling like the baby is engaged, then not again). I think my body has a really easy time of positioning my babies, as DD was in perfect position during birth. So now I'm kind of worried that I'll go into labor earlier than I want to because of this! I want to have the baby a week from now, for multiple reasons (DD is sick right now, DP needs to paint her room this weekend, I want one of those easy Libra babies I hear about
). So while meditating I kept picturing the date Sept 23rd for start of labor, assuming baby will pop out on the 24th.
: that it works!

I'm still working - part in office and part from home. I want to do laundry (but it's in the basement and DH has "forbid" me from carrying anything up or down the stairs). I want to paint but our house is older and I need to sand first - with the possibility of lead, that is also a no-no for me. So I'm sitting here watching "baby story" on TLC.

I'm also still at work. I'm getting really anxious even though I still have 2 weeks till my EDD. I went over with my DD, got induced which failed and wound up w/ a c/s. I *really* don't wanna have that happen again and I figure my best bet is to not go past my EDD but I'm also trying to resign myself to 4 more weeks of pregnancy at the same time. Doing yoga at home, cleaning and baking more sweets than I have any right to bake. Right now I'm chilling dough for fig newtons.

DP just came to me and asked, "is there anything we need for the birth? I just realized it's any day now!"
We're having a UC so we supply our own kit.
Of course I have a box of birth supplies all ready to go (with our doula's phone number written on top), but I just realized that while I know what's in there, he doesn't, so tonight's activity is to go through the box and tell him what everything is and when/why I'd need it. I just think it's really funny he was almost panicking that we weren't ready. Um... duh, I'm a mama, and the one going into labor! You better believe I'm ready! I'm glad he brought it up, though. I'm so used to having everything covered that I forgot that I'm not going to be running around getting supplies when I'm in labor.
Also, I'm going to deep clean the bedroom today. Just the bedroom, nothing else! Still trying to get some rest.
Anyone else have to lay down/sit on the couch just to digest breakfast? It's like my body can only do so much at a time, even digesting is something I have to stop for, now.

Our laundry is in the basement and our bedrooms are on the second floor! I do laundry but I make DP carry the hampers up and down the stairs. I just tell him when there are full hampers to bring down, and then again when there are full hampers to bring up. It's a pretty good system.

I'm playing badminton every night with my SO. And trying to walk the dogs a lot. And working up some songs for my banjo.
Oh, and I have a really BAD movie sitting 1/2-watched in my laptop. Most of the time, however, I'm obsessing over when I'll go into labor and what doing so will feel like. Sigh.
Cellar - I'm with you. I'm visualizing a baby entering my world on the 23rd or 24th.

LOL...yes and I take these huge breaths in between bites...then it comes back to haunt me a couple hours later. Can't wait to hear about your UC...
