Don't know if any of you heard him on NPR the other day but I've never heard such a good, strong advocate against spanking! His programs really try to help parents of young children learn how to use other discipline measures...and he just really spoke eloquently about the issue and violence in poor communities...and he even mentioned how he's always floored by someone spanking their child for hitting a sibling...
anyway just wondered if anyone else heard him speak or knows about the Harlem Childrens Zone?
