Fall IVFs, summer 09 babies! - Page 12

I am triggering tonight, actually tomorrow. 1am to be exact, so my ER will be on Tuesday Dec 2 at 12noon. I am so excited.

Hopefully everyone will have BFP so that I can ask all the questions that I will have.

I hope you called and talked to someone at your clinic today. At this stage a POAS means nothing, ignore unless it's good news. And I understand that brown bleeding is not nearly as big of a deal as red bleeding. If you haven't called a nurse, please do. And take care of yourself!!!

Hi Seedlings... and everyone else!

The 2WW has been ok.. some days are quicker than others! It's almost over as I go in for my first beta tomorrow morning! I thought I would feel more excited or nervous...but I'm just kind of blah about it. I don't know why. I also really have this feeling of peace and calm about the whole thing, which is really good. Whatever is meant to happen will happen! I have been feeling really HOT and am starting to see some blue veins around my chest, but that could all be a side effect of the progesterone too...

I'll let you all know the results tomorrow. Keep me in your thoughts please!

Oh and, congratulations Seedlings! I wish you a happy and healthy 9 months!

My beta is tomorrow also. I have not had a great time with my 2nd week. I am now 10dp3dt, took another pg stick, and still BFN. I am getting really discouraged...shouldn't it be showing positive by now? I had some (what I can only assume is implantation bleeding) at 8dp3dt, so I guess it could have been a late impanter...right? I am going CRAZY!!!!! Someone please help! Is it completely hopless now?

Hi All, how is everyone doing.

Pink and Texas- good luck with your betas tomorrow. You are both in my thoughts.

I had my ER today- 22 eggs, so they will call me in the AM and let me know how many fertilized. I woke up according to my DH moaning very loudly, and everyone came in to try and figure out what I was saying, and he finally said she has cramps...she wants something for the cramps, and he was right. I am better now, feel normal actually. I go in for my transfer on Sunday, and we still are not sure how many we are going to transfer.

Texas ~ Try to stop going on the crazy train. Please find a safe place to go and be kind to yourself. This whole process is harder than imagined and the 2 ww is brutal.

I just did my third ivf on top of 2 cancelled cycles and none got any easier (before that I did iui's). Unfortunately it is way to easy to pummel oneself during a cycle and even after. Yes, there are people who test negative and get a pos beta. So there is hope and I pray that you get a bfp.

Well ladies...beta came back a BFN!!! They told me to stop my progesterone and everything. I am wishing you the best of luck, but I won't be back for a while.

So sorry Texas, my Beta is tomorrow but I am so not excited about it. I haven't POAS this time, they call it "cheating" and perhaps a jinx? I'm trying something different this time, but I can't afford to be as excited.

Texas I am so sorry. I completely understand taking a break from the boards. I don't know what to say to take away the pain. But it can be dulled with a bottle of wine or that's what worked for me. I spent a lot of time in pajamas after my bfns.

The nurse said my numbers already look really great and she'll be phoning to book an ultrasound tomorrow. Back in for beta on Friday.

AFM they called this AM to let me know that of the 22 ret, 13 were mature and 11 fert. so now we just wait for day 5 transfer.

Remember my story (the silly dork who overstimulated on Clomid but understimulated on Lupron and Gonal-f?) My IVF was thankfully converted into an IUI. I had 3 folicles at the time of the IUI.

Well, guess what Santa brought this morning?

A BFP!!

Holy cow, I am in total shock. It took 19 cycles, 5 rounds of Clomid, 5 IUIs, 1 round of injectibles, 1 failed IVF, 1 miscarriage...but the line is definitely there:

Today is my last day staying home. I think I might have a touch of OHSS or maybe I am just the most constipated I have ever been. I won't go into details here I am starting to feel better today though. I am looking foward to Sunday though. We still have not decided on 1 or 2 to transfer. I guess we will make that decision on Sunday.
