I was feeding my 14 month old today and noticed that her molar looked like it was black on the inside. Now I know (although I didn't know before, because my pediatrician tells me exactly nothing) that my baby should not have been put to bed with her bottle. So of course I was worried about decay from sleeping with the bottle. I looked at photos of tooth decay caused by bottles, and it was always in the front teeth. All her other teeth are perfectly white, though, with no spots or problems...its just this molar, which I wouldn't have noticed if she hadn't opened her mouth so wide for a spoonful of food. Would her molar have decayed this quickly (she's had it for about a month or two, and there wasn't a problem with it when it first came in)? Could it be something else? Please help. I feel really awful.

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.
Is her molar rotted?!

try brushing her teeth and back molars really well and see if you can get a better look at it. She may get a little irritated, but you should brobably try and get a good look at it for a minute. I wouldn't think they could rot this quickly, but who knows-
If the spot is still there, I would make an appointment with your pedi and see what he/she says. More than anything you don't want it to become infected or abcessed.
