if you used cloth postpartum pads, how many did you have?

I'm making some cloth postpartum pads, and I'm not sure how many to make. I don't normally use pads for AF so I don't even have that to use as a general guideline. So, for those who've used cloth postpartum pads, how many of each absorbency did you have? Was it enough? And what style did you have?

The ones I'm making have a base piece with a PUL layer and wings, and then the actual soaker part velcros onto the base piece. I was thinking about making 6 base pieces (since they shouldn't need to be changed very often, I hope), maybe 8 or so heavy soakers, 6-8 medium soakers, and then half a dozen light/pantyliner soakers. FWIW I'm not a frequent changer so they wouldn't be changed unless they needed to be or in the morning and evening. Does that sound like enough? Too much?

Well, for comparison, I had 12 pads for postpartum and washed them by tossing them in with the baby's diapers. I never ran out, but it did get a bit tight. I think 12-15ish pads would have been fine.
