What can I do as a SAHM with a newborn and toddler?

We are making some big changes when baby arrives. We're moving out of state, and I'm not going to seek out a new job. (I WOH right now full time) H is already pressuring me to figure out a way to bring in some kind of income, even if it is small. It is really too much for me to think about right now, but if I could get some ideas to think about I think it would ease his mind. I think he is just stressed about the loss of income.

I'm creative, with a degree in graphic design. Can you help me brainstorm some ideas? What can I do that is realistic with 2 kids in the house? Oh, and a traveling husband who won't be home much! Gah! Stressful!! I have too much on my mind and on my plate to even begin to come up with ideas myself right now.

have you ever heard of www.cafepress.com?
basically they allow you to create designs and graphics and open your own free store with their stuff. you mark up the items above a base price they set and if anything sells you get the profit. i did this a while back with some really cheesy designs and totally forgot and recently got a $25.00 commission check in the mail.

so if you're creative and good with graphic design you could really make some good money. the basic shop is free. you just have to come up with some catchy designs, phrases, etc.

hope this helps.

it is also free to open your own amazon store and make commission off of selling amazon stuff.

You might also consider babysitting another child - perhaps try to find one your toddlers age so they can play together.

Maybe do some desktop publishing with yoru graphic design background?

A newspaper route? I had one with a toddler and a baby, and they usually slept right through it (I had a driving route).

Want to go into business with me? I'm good at the tech side of building Web sites, I'm excellent at the building and content parts of it, but I have no artistic sense at all. So the sites I've built end up looking like they were designed by my kids.

I'm feeling pressured about money, too, and am thinking about trying to build Web sites for small businesses. But I'd definitely need a graphic design-type person to do the colors, icons, adapting the business logos, etc. I would think it would be a 50/50 type of situation... I have no idea how much it would bring in, but I figure I could charge a couple thousand or more per site built, depending on the requirements, and possibly build one or so per month.
