Vegans TTC ~ Autumn/Winter - Page 3

Hhhhhhmmm, right on 36.6 oceane. So I take it you didn't buy a test then? I hope it pops back up tomorrow!
It is bizarre how different our temps are.

Catemom, hope you are feeling well.

Me: CD 4. How boring.
I did buy a test but I want to wait for FMU. If it's a BFN I'm gonna wait it out, especially since my parents are here on Sat and I wouldn't buy a second test until I was very sure anyway.
may the follicular phase be short for you, veganmama!

Hey vegans. How is everyone doing? Cupcake do you have a name for that sweet baby yet? I had my first accu treatment today. It was very calming and relaxing. She asked me where I was at in my cycle and I had to admit that my that if I didn't know better I would think I am about to O, but I haven't O'd this soon in a cycle in almost a year. My cervix isn't quite there, but cm is very fertile, and has been clear for 3 days at least.
oceane I will be thinking about you tomorrow. Hope you pass that test!

Boring CD4 for me too

oceane- : for you tomorrow morning

VeganCupcake- I would love to know what you named your LO too! How are you doing?

Snowpea- accu sounds nice. I've never had it before!
sorry ladies I was too scared to take the test. can I pretty please wait till tomorrow, 13 dpo? unless AF arrives, of course. my breasts are killing me which is a PMS sign so I am just too freakin scared to stare at a blank test I know, ridiculous. I will absolutely update you either way tomorrow.

snow~pea, good to hear you like your acupuncture treatment. I take it that the needles don't hurt too much, then? will your RE confirm the PCOS diagnosis or is it still just a guess? oh, and just maybe you WILL ovulate earlier this time :

Lizzy, I wish you a very short follicular phase!!

talula, I hope you're feeling better.

and how are you, veganmama, catemom, rollergirl, hmkrueger?

hi catherine and little cupcake! gee, i'm so stealing that nickname for the future unborn baby. though we're really good at making up crazy nicknames here anyway

oceane, we meet back with the RE on monday. I'll let you know what he says. I am pretty sure he is going to diagnose pcos, as he's been pretty certain of it so far. We'll get DH's results back then too. Oh, and the accu didn't hurt. There were a couple of locations that I felt more than others, but only for a second. She used elect current in the points in my abdomen to stimulate my ovaries. That was an odd sensation. I see your temp went back up a little this morning, good sign for 12dpo!
Have a great friday all you amazing vegans!

snow~pea and veganmama, how did you find out about your accu practicioners?

eta: I started spotting and took the test then. bfn.
Oceane- next cycle will be your cycle, i know it!
I'm sorry oceane, bfn's suck. I never test before 14 DPO now and only then if I'm pretty d*mn sure because I hate seeing it so much.

SnowPea, acu might make you O earlier!

CD 5. Booooorrrinnnngggg.
yeah snowpea, looks good so far!

thanks ladies.

oceane, sorry you got a bfn. Your temps still look good and spotting isn't necessarily a bad sign. I am going to keep thinking pregnant thoughts for you. I found my accu practitioner here. Someone asked in my state's FYT for a rec and a local midwife who I have seen on MDC quite a bit and come to trust gave one. I had been wondering how you find one too, that's part of what was holding me back. Maybe you could ask in your tribe?

veganmama, if I am ovulating, I don't know if I could give accu the credit since last night was my first treatment. I have been taking the herbs since monday though, and drinking rrl, red clover, and nettle teas since the beginning of this cycle. Maybe a combo of all of the above? Eh, I'll take it no matter what the reason is. I know you are just on boring old CD5, but with 2 same temps in a row, your chart is already looking much calmer than last cycle's. I hope its a good sign that your cycle is getting back to normal.

Hey Vegans, how is everyone? I've got a cold, so charting is out the window (temp this morning was 98.44!). I don't understand how I could have another cold, its only been 6 months since the last one. I think I must have jinxed myself by saying I never get sick too many times. Hope everyone else is having a good weekend.
Hi everyone, thanks Snow Pea for the PM and thread. I'm still here waiting for the first eggie and first AF. I am just recovering from a nasty cold (unusual for me as I don't usually get 'em), then DH got it and now my daughter has it : (only our pups haven't been sick!) so I haven't been temping. But, hopefully we'll all be back in commission soon and getting down to business
post #54 of 913
Hey SnowPea and Grahnolamom (welcome!), I rarely get sick either. Says the woman with a child in junior kindergarten and another in Gr 1. But fortunately it is true.
However, last year I got sick over Christmas (I only get sick when I am on vacation) and couldn't temp. I was so frustrated I decided to temp vaginally on my next cycle and I've been doing that ever since.
snow~pea , too bad you can't temp right now. your fertile signs are in a row, so that's good at least!

welcome grahnola mom!

veganmama and lizzy, I am joining you in the boring wait for AF to leave.

Lots and lots of hugs to you oceane.
Did you have a good day with your parents yesterday?
Oceane, I hope AF is being gentle with you.

SnowPea, so neat that so many of your charts show on FF. Most of us only have 2 charts showing.

AFM, CD 7 or 8 and spotting. I spotted the cycle after my m/c in Feb too.

Veganmama, FF gave me a 30 day free trial of the VIP membership. With that you can show as many charts as you want. Its over in 9 days though, so then I will only have 2 again . Sorry you are spotting, hopefully not for long. I can't believe how serene your chart is so far, no variation at all in your temps, amazing. That must be a good sign.
thanks all, i'm doing good. drinking lots of infusions and wondering if I'll add vitex to my routine again. still not loving the taste no decision to be made until I stop bleeding.
snow~pea, 30 day trial? awesomeness! I just had 5 days, which was nice but since ff misinterpreted my o date it was also annoying to have it pressure me to test
sat was nice, my parents drove us to Ikea (we don't have a car ourselves) and we got a new desk for the office, aka room we put everything in right now , something to put our dvds in, these curtains with leaves on them for the bedroom and the odd thing you always end up buying there then I offered my homemade cupcakes with sugary bittercream frosting, we walked to the city center and I had pizza sans cheese at the only all-veg restaurant in town. thanks for asking! how was your weekend?

veganmama, hope spotting STOPS soon.

Hi Lizzy, hope all is well.

Talula,

catemom, how's the nausea? were you able to read though my cupcake description ? did you start a pregnant vegan thread yet?

oceane, I love those curtains! We got a desk at IKEA too, a couple of months ago. I know what you mean about picking up odd little things every time, I always get some cloth napkins or those glass jars where the lid snaps on. I haven't done anything this weekend. Have just been sitting around drinking tea and blowing my nose. I need to get better quick so I can get back on the track with exercising. Your post is making me hungry for cheeseless pizza and cupcakes .
