peapod chart help?- flapjack :)

or anyone else with the pattern that is no longer available . Anyway- I should not be this completely stumped by a pattern (but at least I am determined- I am so not a quitter).

OK- so I am still on the bottom ribbing making the 6 month size- so I don't end up at the end of the chart on the odd numbered rows. I end up on like stitch 6. So do I start on that particular stitch in the chart or on the end of the chart?

I think this pattern and I are cursed. And DH told me that my yarn choice is 'freaking ugly'. Blech. What else to do with 5 balls of pea green cotton? No- I will knit this stupid sweater if it kills me.

Thanks in advance!

omg- I think I figured it out! :::

I had to search to find a close up pic of the ribbing and that solved all my problems! Now I just hope I can figure out the front panel with less stress!

Umm it is super cute too! And once the bottom ribbing was done DH even changed his mind about the color and said it would work since there were little peas on the sweater..... Hence the name I guess....

It's Kate Gilbert, and she's a nutcase. Just an extremely talented one. Don't think, follow the instructions exactly and trust that it will come out OK.

I love her patterns, but I've come to recognise that knitting her stuff is just going to be a leap into the unknown and you HAVE to just DO as you're TOLD.
I strongly recommend knocking out a nice pair of Picky Pants afterwards, btw, to get the confusion out of your brain.

Yeah- I am hoping to have it done by the time my 3IG order comes in- and maybe just maybe something will match for longies!

Is this pattern available anywhere anymore? I went to find it a few months back and was sad to see it gone
