We're just starting to think about a move up to the McBride area (there is an eco-village starting up about 70 km west of McBride: Kakwa Eco-Village) and I'm wondering what the AP/NFL community is like up there. We are also most likely going to unschool, and I'm interested in the homeschooling support network up there. If we move to the eco-village we'll have a built-in community but I would love to know if there is anything up there by way of resources, hidden gems, great things that might not be immediately apparent... anything really! I've searched the other Northern BC threads and it seems everyone is over by Smithers/New Hazelton/Terrace etc. I know there is at least a bit of a community by Dunster because I witnessed some of it at the Robson Valley Festival this summer! Maybe they're just not online?
