Wow! You all are so lucky. I spend between $2-3 a pound on organic apples. Though now we are just starting to see some specials from the NC mountains.
We probably eat $10-15 a week on apples alone. We do get several jars of free applesauce a year from my FIL.
I would absolutely love to find a "you pick" farm. I loved apple picking as a child.
