Looking for a place to rent in NE GA: Monroe, Loganville, or Grayson area

Just want to see what's out there. Currently we are living in Monroe, in a 3/2.5 townhouse with a bonus room. Our lease is up Dec. 1st. Honestly, we are not crazy about the neighborhood and I want to downsize a little, hopefully to a 3/2. (I really just can't keep up with this house, to tell the truth, and I'm tired of the mess.) Problem is, we can't really afford more than we are paying now, which is 750 a month. So....does anyone know of a duplex for rent, or maybe someone who wants to rent out their finished basement? Right now we are considering re-signing for another 6 months, or maybe renting a trailer. But I'm a little concerned about the questionable safety of a trailer in case of a tornado or whatnot.

There are at least two houses for rent on my street (Gwinnett side of Loganville). I'm not sure what the asking prices are--my guess is slightly higher than $750--but one of the houses has been empty for so long that the owner might be willing to go lower. I can try to get phone numbers for you if you're interested.

This website has pretty cheap rentals, more on the Athens side of Monroe. But, I've seen some on there in Oconee County and down towards Bostwick.

Thanks Betsy. I don't even know where Bostwick is, haha. I would LOVE to move to Athens but that's way in the opposite direction of DH's job(Loganville).
