I went to big lots today just randomly looking around and I found cereal without HFCS!!! I am so happy I love raisin bran which I love and a bunch of kid type cereals that my boyfriend loves. And it only cost $1.80!!! Does anyone else shop at big lots? If so what have you found??? :

I don't go to Big Lots super often because it's out of my way, but I plan on making a trip in the next week or so. I'm fond of their food selection, but also I really enjoy their home supplies, like towels, etc. I need to stock up on a few towels since I have a two bathroom apartment now but only have four towels and have a fluff brain, lol, (pregnant!) and also those towels are slowly biting the dust. Uusally I can towels and such with a higher thread count, or organic, there for less price than the cheapo ones at another store. I'm also going to be looking for general baby supplies, as I've been trying to stock up on the baby goods ahead of time and heard that there are good prices at Big Lots.

I Big Lots too! We have one a half a mile from our house, so we stop there often (especialy on walks). I've found some awesome things there! Last summer I found organic Fruitabu for $2 a box! They also have Annie's bunny cereals for $2 a box. They've had organic oatmeal (individual packets) for about $1.50 a box. They'll have other organic/natural cereals on occasion too.

I saw organic jarred baby food (forgot the brand) there for either 25 cents or 33 cents a jar.

I've also seen organic soups, Annie's mac n cheese (and other mac n cheese, Simply Organic or Natural or something was the brand), organic jarred pickles, soymilk (both aseptic in the carton and in individual plastic bottles), Earth's Best organic Elmo "cheerios", Annie's bunny graham crackers, organic pretzels, organic potato chips, and other goodies.

If you need a new car seat, they have good every day prices on those too.

I once found pria bars there for $1.50 for a box of 6. Woohoo. I bought about 6 boxes.
When I lost all of my weight (65 pounds) The Pria bars was my mid afternoon snack. I would buy them at Costco is a HUGE box but costco stopped selling them. They are about $1 for one bar at the regular store. So $1.50 for 6 was fab!
